Our goal for the Reebok Classics team was to start generating new contemporary classics that felt like a bridge from the original 1980’s Reebok fitness era to the newer contemporary athletic shoes that were being designed by the other categories. With the Streat Heat Court Tech, the concept was to design a Men’s Classics basketball shoe that felt like a fresh technical update to a throwback basketball sneaker like the Jordan I and the Converse Weapon.

Reebok’s original Alien Stomper model from the Alien franchise was a helpful jumping off point for my imagination. The design was slowly refined into something more wearable & versatile. The heel portion of the midsole features a slight recess for updated molded heel clip components season to season. The outsole was designed to allow for a heel color dam to be knocked out to showcase an optional Hexalite cushioning component.
